HALF MACHINE06, an international laboratorium for artists who create and experiment in the field where interactive art, electronic art, danceinstallations, robots and new music meet.

In the impressive Grey Hall at Christiania artists from USA, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, England, Italiy, Greece, Argentina, China and Venezuela create the framework for a extraordinary meeting, where the audience/visitors are invited to join the process and participate in the development of experiments and installations.

HALFMACHINE06 is a space which constantly recreates itself and changes - a laboratorium, where the different pieces of art works together as a 'central nerveous system' and mis-en-scene. Danceinstallation, robotlife, lightart, waterinstallation and concerts, build in major parts by recycling materials using old and new technology. Limits are explored by aerical dancers, floating over the heads of the visitors and experiments with the powers of nature like electricity and water with mental and spiritual energy.

At HALFMACHINE06 you can experience daily concerts and midnightconcert-laboratorium with new danish artists and composers. You can visit the interactive videobar with your laptop and exchange favoritart and/or suggest themes for discussions. Visitors at the HALFMACHINE06 are urged to bring their old taperecorders, electronic playtoys, roasters etc. which can be transformed to new hybrids in the HALF MACHINE06 Circuit Bending og Trash Recycle-playarea."
